Mac filezilla ssh3/9/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() No need for Windows here, step back from the edge. ssh folder and was able to add it to my saved connection. Did that, converted the file using Putty through a homebrew install, added to my. BUT there is a process to install homebrew on an M1 mac. ![]() Had to install Homebrew to do the conversion. Taking little bits from all of your responses I was finally able to figure it out and use Filezilla (what the vendor recommends). The ONLY way I've gotten this to work is on a windows machine, adding the private key to Putty Paegent and then logging in normally.Īny ideas that can help me get this going on a Mac or should I just get a windows license and spin up a VM for him? The window that should show the path to the ppk file is empty. Downloaded Filezilla, went into settings to add the private key file and nothing happens. The instructions I received for this are ONLY for windows and we run a Mac environment. We sent them a public key and we kept the private. The only way to access OLD transcripts is through an SFTP server that the vendor set up. I have a guidance counselor who is working with a vendor for transcripts. I posted this over on the macsysadmin reddit as well. ![]()
